Hi Grumples .... I think I'll wait until later this week when the case has progressed further. The PJ and UK dectectives have a lot more up their sleeves.

Who exactly are the haters? From where I am sitting you seem to be the one making hateful comments, about people that have made a decision to let the police do their job rather than saying hateful things about two individuals that they have never met.
Haters is definitely a term I would use for those who feel it is humane to hang draw and quarter people before any solid police evidence is put on the table.
I agree that they were neglectful, but I am not going to follow the crowd and condemn these people for murdering their own child, when the only thing that we know for sure is that they left their children alone that night, which I am totally against.
If you were secure enough with your own opinions, you would not have spent months on here trying to dismiss and belittle other peoples, if you were intelligent enough to have an adult conversation, just like many of the other 'anti' mccanns you would have accepted that people have opposing views, and if you had a bone of intellect in your body, you would reevaluate the term 'haters' and see whether it is really necessary in this context, given the fact that the only person acting hateful towards another group of people is you.

No not convinced at all. Is it claimed the blood was from a nosebleed. That's really funny Dave s said some time back when the blood was first found, "How long will it be before the McCanns claim it was from a nosebleed or a cut finger". Deja vu.

No you haven't and this is why :
:
We could be here for hours and still not come to any conclusion!!
The news today ( 10th Sept '07 ) were this:
"Chief Inspector Olegario Sousa, spokesman for the Portuguese police enquiry, said: "At the moment the enquiry is being prepared to be handed to the prosecutor in charge of the case. He will analyse it and after this he will make his decision."
I just have this STRONG feeling that the Portuguese Public Prosecutor's Office will decide that there is "INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE" and the case will become dormant.
I have no doubt that there is, at least some, evidence that the McCanns are guilty but not enough to convict. Like in England, the prosecution have to prove the case to BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. The prosecution in Portugal also have a heavy onus on their shoulders. THAT and ONLY that will clear the McCanns.
Listen, my friends.... police forces are species difficult to fool. They are experts... then can sniff foul play a mile away and need evidence only to back it up. Something pretty strong ties those two to the death of the little girl. You cannot have an entire police organisation like the PJ-GNR come up with an accusation like that UNLESS THEY ARE PRETTY SURE OF WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. Whether or not they will ever be found guilty, well, that is another thing altogether.
Do I want them behind bars ? NOOOOoooooo Their two other kids need them. They are not criminals... but they are surely involved.
Let's not forget that their Portuguese lawyer himself advised Kate that, based on the evidence him and Kate had been shown, that Kate, "might very well be charged" -- So... is her own lawyer conspiring with the Portuguese PK-GNR to frame them or... has her lawyer seen something that the rest of us haven't ?!?!?
The McCanns themselves will tell us, in time, whether they did it or not. How ?! The Portuguese Police will soon drop the case "for lack of sufficient evidence." Soon the McCanns will have a choice, a temptation to make money by "selling their story" and then by accusing the Portuguese Police of this and that.... but if they want to do that they will have to forget about continuing to convince the rest of us that they are innocent and that they are still looking for their daughter. Can't have the two together -- continuing cooperation with the Police by keeping their mouths shut AND sell their story FOR MONEY. If they choose money instead to me it will mean they don't want to find the their daugthter's body as that would mean their freedom gone -- the body would tell Police precisely why and how she died -- unless of course you let it decompose for as long as possible. This is crude but that is how it is !! The body, for example, would tell us if the girl was drugged !
It never ceases to amaze me. This morning on the radio (London) one guy said "I DO NOT WISH TO SAY THAT THE PORTUGUESE POLICE ARE TRYING TO FRAME THE McCANNS (lol) BUT...." -- You don't "wish" but you wish you could, you idiot !!!

There is another explanation for the blood traces in the apartment and in the boot of the car.
When the McCanns arrived at their holiday destination it was reported that a very excited Madeline tripped and fell on the steps when getting off the plane. She apparently cut her leg which bled profusely.
This could have transferred to other items of clothing during their arrival at the apartment.
May I say that I do not have any faith in DNA profiling and all the evidence of samples obtained so far are to small and insignificant to have any useful bearing in this investigation.

firstly, the nose bleed story, i do not beleive for one minute. suddenly madeleine may have had a nose bleed....why no mention of this before?.
they could not have been checking every five minutes cause according to the mccann's theory, madeleine was abducted, who could have gotten in there have time to take madeleine and get away without being seen by the other person make the next check?.
how could blood from kate's clothes from madeleine's so called nose bleed transfer from kates clothes to the car booth 25 days afterwards, wouldn't the blood be dried and flaked on kate's clothing?.

Well the fact that Kate admitted they sometimes give their kids light painkillers would lead me to believe the kids were sleeping heavily for other reasons. And lets see..oh bloody clothes. When my son, a frequent nose bleeder, gets blood on my clothes I tend to throw them a way because usually blood stains don't come out of clothing very easily. Kate does not strike me as the type that would walk around in blood stained clothing. But biggest fact of all. Had they not been STUPID on the night of May 3 their daughter would be in school right now,.

I dnt know what I believe! But even if they are innocent, even if they checked on the kids, they should still get done for child neglect! You can't leave 3 children in an apartment on their own in Portugal, it's ridiculous, I hope they've learnt their lesson and don't leave their other 2 kids on their own.

Who are the "haters"?
I certainly don't hate you...
Shrewd little post here Grumples...but it doesn't hold much water...as ScaryMary clearly points out.
All we are certain of is this :
1. The McCanns left their babies unattended.
2. Madeleine disappeared.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS SPECULATION.
