i live here in atlanta and i think this is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. i am a waitress and i have seen NUMEROUS idiots eat ALL OF THEIR FOOD and then complain that they didnt like their food or it tasted funny. the cop is obviously a moron and an a hole so i hope that the manager and the whole mcdonalds corporation take up for her. i think the cop should reimburse the bail too. he didnt have to press charges.

I could not believe that when I read it. why didn't that idiot cop throw the burger away after the first bite....instead of eating it! Hopefully, if it ever gets to court, the judge will throw it out and criticize the police department for taking up value court time with such stupid, ridiculous, petty bullshit. seems to me that this yahoo cop is going for a lawsuit and needs the publicity. I hope Ronald McDonald kicks his ***!!!

It's ridiculous. From what I understand she didn't purposely dump a bunch of salt on the cop's burger. And if it was so salty why did he eat the whole thing??!! Someone mentioned something about a salt allergy. Call me crazy but it seems common sense would dictate that if you have a salt allergy the last place you should eat at is a fast food joint.

My son, who's an adult, has a allergy to salt, it's a rare allergy and genetic, so, my adult daughter has it too. They both could have their lives in jeopardy by eating these hamburgers. That manager that shook the salt off the hamburger and sent it through is the one that gave the final say so, he's the one responsible and the restaurant will probably get a lawsuit.

The Officer did charger her and he or she improve into arraigned and released on bail. Justice isn't modern-day in an arrest. An arrest is purely the act of bringing a cost against somebody. the female gets her day in court docket and could have the finished factor approximately an lawyer. she would be in a position to could be stumbled on responsible previous a life like doubt for the duration of her trial. If she is convicted then she would be in a position to be sentenced. If she is acquitted then she would be in a position to be cleared of the fees and in a hundred year (in all danger much less) no one will remember this. as quickly as all of it fairly is asserted and performed then we are in a position to talk approximately justice. I wasn't there so i'm going to hold my rant for later. They did deliver the burger to against the regulation lab. the outcomes could be exciting. i like how human beings could make race an argument in this. i attempted to locate a image of the officer so i could make certain if he improve into white or black and could no longer whether it could be humorous if he improve right into a black guy. i understand i wanted to submit a hyperlink to his photograph so absolutely everyone here could end pulling enjoying cards out of the race deck.

i just read this. i think it's the most hilarious thing ever! the cops that i work with would never even think of doing that. i don't know how sick the guy could become. if it was too salty, SPIT it out. unless he had a heart attack from the burger and the salt, (and seeing as to how he CAME back into the store, that didn't' happen), there is no reason for it.
she shouldn't have been the only one to get in trouble. the manager wiped the meat off.
it's not arsenic, people! it's salt.

This is of course a direct abuse of power.
What does a normal sane person do when they try to eat something that doesnt taste right? They spit it out and dont eat it. Why did the cop sit there and eat the entire burger if it was too salty for his tastes?
My general belief is that he was pissed off about something at work and took out his frustration on the worker.
What I am surprised about is that McDonalds has not come forward to protect the girl at all.

the cop got nothing to do but sitting his *** all day trying to find something to do. this has never happen in other country yet but in U.S. how can you arrest some one for too much salt on burger, even if there was too much salt on it, they will spilt it back out and talk to the supervisor, no need to arrest nobdoy.

Well I guess they should have thrown the burger away and gave him a fresh one, but if it hadn't been a cop on the receiving end, I doubt such a big fuss would have been made of it. Poor girl, she's obviously not very lucky.
