Remember when bush escorted Ladens whole family out of the USA right after 9/11 for security reasons? We should have at least tried to contain them to help get him.
I think that some people in the US don't want to catch him. We have pretty much given up for no reason.

I think we've hashed this over and rehashed it. Iraq, the mountains, are a huge place, the Air Force has bombed, repeatedly, the mountain ranges to almost leveling them. The caves which dominate the area could hide virtual cities with thousands of people. These caves have entrances that cover areas as large as the caves them selves, this, along with all the people devoted to him, it's an impossible task to find him. They, the U.S., has to be satisfied with discrediting him to his followers and the people of Iraq in hoping someone will either turn him in or, will slip as to his where a bouts.
I know the members of the Army Rangers, the Special Forces and the Navy Seals, are all on the look out for him, they're an advanced unit that are highly trained and sooner or later, they will connect.

It's difficult to find someone if you aren't looking for them. OBL is far too useful as the bogeyman the government can throw up when politically convenient.

because they are somewhat stupid
they can`t handle such things because us army specialises in mass attacks on a country
in fact the gommandment is a bunch of people sitting at a desk giving half-thinked orders
the soldiers might be responsable but the rest are incompetent
