Doesn't he realize that US goes to war because another Country attacks US first. Or is planning to attack US?

Then also what about http//www.iranfocus.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5183 where they sentenced to death a women who defended herself when a group of guys who tried to gang rape her & she accidently killed one. Then they would have sentenced her to death if she didn't try to defend herself also. Damn if she does & damn is she doesn't.

Why are they so self righteous. When Jesus Christ did just the oposite regarding the women who was caught in the act of adultery? Because Iran is an oppressive nation.

I see that the KKK is becoming more popular in the south again. Anyone know a reason why. Maybe some KKK members or even support them would like to reply as I would like to hear the other side of the coin. If they are brave enought, which I doubt.

and their is evidence that he wired 10,000 to the lead hijacker. this has been raised by many independent investigators but not in the mainstream media. is this not a big red flag that something shady is going on.

I hope they all get arrested on a false charge and they will know what it feels like. I also hope they suffer a hate campaign similar to what the McCanns have had to suffer,
I hope they suffer a campaign containing 1000s of cheap sarcastic remarks repeated ad nauseaum ridiculing their personal lives and their demeanour. I saw some of the beheading videos from Iraq (not by choice) and they made me throw up. What can be done about these people? They chant "Praise Allah" as they kill people. Realistically, what, if anything, can be done?

Even on the basis of scant knowledge, accusing the parents of killing their daughter doesn't seem to make much sense. The thought of this poor family being wrongly accused of their missing daughter's death (for whatever reason) is so utterly abhorrent and distressing. If they are innocent as seems probable, then this latest development is simply horrific. If they aren't innocent, well time will tell, but I come from a country where someone is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, and I think the McCann's deserve that assumption more than most.

Yesterday the Dems put a 12 year old on in rebuttal to Bush's stand on SHIPS. The problem is the boy should have been covered under automobile insurance and not have the expenses pushed on the taxpayers. Guess it was one of the liberal illegals that hit the kid. It could also be a fake story like that nut case that claimed to be special forces and having witnessed military abuse. The Dem's also pushed his story but when it was discovered he was a liar and had been kicked out after 44 days in the military they did the same as the NAACP did when the Duke boys were left out of the mess over that alledged rape. Nothing beats the gulliability of the Dems for picking stories to push to attack Republicans.

They have stated they want Israel gone. But Israel has nuclear weapons and better delivery systems as well as a vast superiority in conventional forces. It would be suicide if Iran attacked first. No country or empire in the history of the world has ever actually engaged in actions that would ensure all of its population would die in a nuclear holocaust. Assured destruction kept the Americans and the Soviets peaceful except for small proxy wars(Vietnam & Afghanistan) any Iranian leader who successfully put the hurt on Israel would instantly become a legend and hero in the eyes of the Iranian population and surrounding Arab world. But only if there were Iranians around to create and maintain legends. Israel's response would wipe Iran and their population off the map . There would be no one to celebrate or declare victory on the Israelis. Do you think these threats are for real or are they just posturing to placate their local populations because they really can't do anything.

I think they have been framed; the police are probably under instructions to do this by some political big-wig.

The truth is the McCanns' presence and ongoing publicity in Portugal (while of dubious benefit to Madeleine - who is in all probability dead) has been very NEGATIVE publicity for the resort and for Portugal in general (which relies on the tourist trade).

This was one sure way of getting rid of the McCanns - subjecting them to this nightmare (utterly bizarre and unbelievable - they would have had to be extraordinarily stupid, not to mention have very thick hides, in order to linger at the scene of the crime had they been remotely involved) was one way of making sure they left.

Had they been serious suspects they would never have been released.

I think (and this is a personal viewpoint) it was not a wise thing to do, hang around indefinitely and get on everyone's nerves - but I can totally understand why they did and might do the same in their position. It does not however justify the behaviour of the Portuguese police and whoever’s behind this.

Framing them in this ludicrous way is totally condemnable - the poor couple have been through enough without being subject to this silly accusation. 25 days AFTER the event - please! Anyone could have put the "evidence" there and anyone probably did.

I hope the British consul in Portugal will issue a strong criticism of the way this has been handled, and the indignities these 2 unfortunate people have been subjected to, simply because they failed to leave when everyone would have preferred them to depart.
