In the news, you constantly hear that Iran is sponsoring terrorist group(s). What group(s) is/are that and is there any proof?

The only group I know off the top of my head is Hammas. But Iran fights wars all the time via proxy with their brand new weaponry finding its way into the hands of the Taliban and Shiite militias in Iraq that are fighting the coalition.

Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, al-Aksa Martyrs are a few more names to be added to the list. According to America it is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world to date.

Iran is Shi'a, not Sunni; it's major sponsor is the Shi'a group Hezbullah, which operates in Lebanon and is considered a terrorist organization by many people around the world (though in recent years they've limited their activites a lot from what they used to in the past, basically working within Lebanon; they recently attacked some sites in northern Israel in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon). They also have allegedly recently given some attention to Palestinian Islamic Jihad, funded partly via Hezbullah. Some other people say Iran is funding Hamas, but I think direct support is unlikely. They may be broadly ideologically aligned (since they're not in any direct conflict), but this is not the same as sponsorship.

Iran is the chief sponsor of Hezbollah, or the Army of God. That is the group which blew up the Marine barracks at the Beirut Airport during the Reagan administration. The regime in Tehran has never denied that. The top leadership of Hezbollah are all Shia Muslims, the same sect which rules Iran. Hezbollah is currently the leading terrorist group in Lebanon and was the one which carried out recent attacks against Israel in the northern part of that country.

Well its actually bullcrap that our goverment spills and they are just putting dirt on Iran.
since Bush came on power, we kept hearing terrorist bull like we never heard of em ever b4.Iran doesnt spoenser any terrorist groups and iran has never been known to carry out such activities its pretty clear to many intelligent ppl that bush's propaganda theory to make iran be the "bad" guy. Regarding Hezbollah, they arent iran's nor does iran support/sponser them, they are an independent lebanese paramilitary group whos mission is to defend lebanon from Israel but since Bush is the biggest sponser of terror himself (support israels killing of innocent palestianians and provide Israel with$$) label them and literally anybody he dont like as terrorists. The only link they have is a common enemy which is Israel, and iran encourages its hostility towards Israel maybe in the future if there is a conflict they might be allies but they arent linked and iran doesnt "sponser" them

Well, there is the thing with the whole "trying-to-kill the Saudi Arabian-Embassador" thing and that the government knew all about it. Do you watch the news? @ Jamie- Don't speak of things you don't know because you sound like an idiot :)
