Our weekly is more about whats going on here. As a small town(3000) 40 miles from the nearest daily, those who want to keep up with the news each day subscribe to the distant town, watch the distance towns news on TV. Or look it up on the Internet. If you want to know who won the football game, when the garden club meets, or what the board of Supervisors are arguing about you check the local paper. We also have a lively, letters to the editors, because there are so few people writing in, they can print some really off the wall letters.

We are the largest town in the county, so there are a dozen sections that a local writes about each town. The paper is all of 10-12 pages.

The issues are going to be different because weekly papers don't cover the daily news and because the audiences are going to be different. The daily paper will probably be more specific because it *does* update its contents daily.

I prefer daily newspapers because weekly newspapers covers old news and the news is already irrelivant. Old news is no news! Daily newspapers have more up to date news, and readers probably want there news to be fresh.
