All from IMUS' racist comments. Imagine this... if you side with him that it was ok to say what he said due to FREEDOM of SPEECH, then how come Howard Stern was always attacked for what he said? You can hear Howard, but have to pay for it. So to have FREEDOM of SPEECH you need to pay for it. Is it really free? Stop and think about it for a second...

Since all the well known opportunists out there such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have called for Don Imus to be fired from his job at WFAN. Do you honestly think he should be canned? We all know how Sharpton and Jackson are complete LIARS they will say anything to get their point across. If the public listens to them, it is likely we will all get hoodwinked by a couple of anti white black racists.

Imus has been a controversial shock jock for so many years. Why the uproar from millionaire's Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson making their carrer off their own race? Maybe the ultra senstive African Americans need to start in their own house with its own demeaning of Women and successfull people?

I am so frustrated with the so called "journalistic media" these days. That is across the board - the major networks, CNN, Fox News - all of them. Everyone has their own biases and agendas. Nothing seems to be reported honestly, completely and objectively anymore. There is little to no "hard news" and real journalism. And don't even get me started on our horrible local news TV stations (so self serving and self promoting) or our local newspaper. It just all seems to suck basically.

So where do you get most of your news from? Where do you usually go to find out what is going on in the world, nation and locally?

I am black and personally don't think Imus is racist. But if we think he is racist we should listen to the Jersey Guys at nj1015.com. They are out of New Jersey and they are out of control.

Islamic official seeks removal of mufti
Monday Apr 9 23:46 AEST
The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils' (AFIC) legal adviser says its controversial mufti should be removed by abolishing the position.

The federal government and opposition have called for Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali to be sacked after his latest reported remarks calling on Muslims to back Iran's hardline regime.

The AFIC appointed Sheik Alhilali as mufti in 1989 and last year suspended his salary.

Last week, it said his future would be decided by the National Council of Imams by June.

But honorary legal adviser to the AFIC Haset Ali said his organisation should decide the cleric's fate.

"The federation was the organisation that appointed a mufti," Mr Ali told ABC TV.

"I believe that the federation has an obligation on it to bring that situation to a sensible end and say that there should be no mufti for Australia.

"I think he's placed himself and the community in an impossible position and if the man has any sort of dignity he will bow out now."

Mr Ali said Sheik Alhilali did not represent the thinking of the majority of Muslims in Australia.

"I certainly believe that he's taking us on the wrong path and I believe we have to speak up against that and I, as one of the leaders, am totally opposed to going down that track."

AFIC president Ikebal Patel called for a more cautious response.

"I would urge the greater Australian community to give the Australian Muslims time to sort through this issue," Mr Patel told ABC TV.

"We don't want to do this under the cloud of political pressure because that will not in any way help the greater Australian community in the long run."

I am sick of people saying that 9/11 was a conspiracy, especially because i live in NY and i know people who died in it. And theres video of the planes crashing into it, the terrorists admitted to it, and your all wrong who says it was an inside job. I am also tired of losers with no life hoping its a consipiracy, because theyre too bored with there own god damn lives that they have to think everything is hidden from them. WHat do you think on this?

I guess one way for these two to have guests on their programs is to call someone a racist , like Imus, and have them grovel onto their show?

First off, if you know anything about Imus, you know he is not racist. Second, if you listened to the ENTIRE conversation, you would know that he was comparing the tatooed rough looking players that look straight from the hood( a popular look among basketball players, male and female, thanks to the NBA players) that play at Rutgers, to the well dressed well groomed Tennessee players. In that sense he was right, the Tennessee players look much more respectable. Either way, he was not being a bigot, he has never been a bigot, and people are making too big of a deal out of this while thing. Why not just let this go??

Calling himself "a good person" who made a bad mistake, radio host Don Imus said Monday he would check his acid tongue after being lambasted for making racially charged comments about the Rutgers University women's basketball team.Imus said he was "embarrassed" by the remarks, in which he referred to the mostly black team as "nappy-headed hos." He said he had made the comments in the course of "trying to be funny," but he was not trying to excuse them.
"I'm not a bad person. I'm a good person, but I said a bad thing. But these young women deserve to know it was not said with malice," he said."It's not going to be easy, but I'm not looking for it to be easy," Imus said.Sharpton has said he wants Imus fired and that he intends to complain to the Federal Communications Commission about the matter."Somewhere we must draw the line in what is tolerable in mainstream media," Sharpton said Sunday. "
" That's some nappy-headed hos there, I'm going to to tell you that," Imus said.

Along with the many rude and racist comments said before, do you think IMUS on MSNBC in the morning should be fired for his comments about Rutgers womens basketball team calling them nappy headed hoes. The Team is all African American and women of course. At the same time he said the Tennesse team were beautiful, who's team is also majority African American but lighter skin African Americans. We know we meant this b/c be brought up Spike Lee's Movie in reference to his comment.

Imus makes jokes of everybody, his wife included, and as he says, that doesn't give him the right to make fun of the kids. I didn't hear the program but I hear Imus apologizing and I believe him that he meant no harm. Come on folks, give the Iman a break. Sometimes I'm mad at him too, but I don't believe he's a racist.
