They sure do. Remember how they kept asking whether Obama was black enough for the blacks and whether whites would vote against him because he is black? Obama himself has avoided playing the race card, saying that if he loses it won't be because of his race; but he is forced to bring it up now and then. That's just one example of the media defining events in terms of race, when participants may not even see race as a big factor.

Not only between the races, but between political parties and between people of opposite views. People often fall into the trap, sometimes for their 15 minutes of fame, sometimes to get their views across. Then they go and editorialize about it and demonize who they want to. It happens all over the world though. The media is insidious, cruel and evil.

Ever notice how they will criticize anybody and everybody, but the minute you criticize one of them, you are against freedom of the press and against free speech?
