I fully agree, it's ridiculous that any time anyone says anything a little "off color" towards African Americans everyone gets up in arms, of course it seems its completely okay for them to continue to say things regarding other races. Hypocrites.

Reverend Sharpton ,one day after Easter, is more concerned about his notoriety than what a Reverend should be concerned with.
Forgiveness
Imus gave a sincere apology this morning on the air and took full responsibility for his behavior. He didn't run off to REHAB.
He is also meeting with the girls he offended to personally apologize.
What would Jesus do Rev. Al ?
Forgive or book every talk show and pontificate?

I think the whole thing is a win-win situation for everyone, sharpton and jackson are media hogs and if nothing like this happened they would make it up. Imus gets a big kick out of quacking too.

I hope we don't start censoring humor, no matter how bad that humor is! Imus was not trying to be hateful, just a passing funny remark.
Like Howard Stern, he makes his living being 'controversial'.

Hip Hip Hooray!!!!! I agree! Let him speak who cares it's just words. it's not like he did anything to any body. Sticks and stones may break my bones (and they'd better be big ones) but WORDS will never hurt me!!!

I don't feel that anyone should use that language. If they are going to make it a big deal for one man to say it, then they need to make it a big deal for the rest who say it on a daily basis. Racisim is racisim, it doesn't matter what color the person is saying it. Thank you and may GOD come soon to right the wrongs that have been done on this earth.

Why would you cheer for somebody who said something so hurtful? Says something about you're own character...
