Yes, $3.00 a gallon and how many Billions in profit? We need a President who isn't from Texas.

Yeah, a good way to do it is by boycotting ALL gas stations and not buying gas from any of them. See where that gets you and get back to me on that one.

I would but we are too dependent on oil in this country! Are you worried about the prices or the planet? Because, sadly neither of those are not going to be fixed by boycotting the oil companies because not enough people would be willing to compromise their well being to make that sacrifice.

LOL I've always found this a rather amusing concept. It's simple really, use less, everybody use less. Stop getting in your car to go the corner store. Combine trips, car pool, take a train, a bus, a boat, a bike, take your feet out for walk. EVERYONE uses less... the demand goes down even more and wow... prices go down. And if people won't do that....shut up! The gas companies aren't in it for the charity and no where in the governing laws of this country does it say we are owed cheap fuel.

yea sure as soon as i find a way to get around with out the need for it.....by the way it's those bone head oil companies you should be boycotting. i have heard every excuse in the book about soaring prices for gas but every fiscal quarter they are making record breaking profits

Yes!

I've already sold my two cars. All my neighbors are into conservation and using fewer resources. Which gas stations do you want boycotted?

If I lived closer to work and school I would in a heartbeat. But as an American I know this will never happen...we want what we want when we want it at all costs. But yeah basic economics tells us that when demand drops so does price so that would drop the price if enough people were willing to do this.

Willing, but not able. We still have to get around, so we're stuck with what they charge, Besides, it isn't the stations, it's the Bush administration in conjunction with the arabs. It's all about politics. Somebody has to fund this war, and we get the shaft.

I don't see how that's possible. I work 30 miles away from where I live and public transport in my city SUCKS. It really pisses me off that the oil companies report record profits while we keep paying more and more and more.

I love the idea, it's the reality of the situation that makes it hard.

I think our best bet for change is the ballot box. right now we have the most oil-friendly administration in office. Let's see which candidate is willing to challenge these fat cats and vote for them!

Do you mean for high prices and apparent gouging? You bet. Lately, I shop for gas by price--its all the same octane rating anyway and my car doesn't seem to mind...So the higher priced stations never see my business and whoever is lowest when I need it always gets my business.
