Can anybody suggest which floor is better in 7 storey building, i am a bit confused on that. Factors influencing me are:-
Ground floor
1. park is almost adjacent.
2. I have a kid of 7 months so for safety purpose.

3rd Floor.
1. Will be more airy.
2. Sunlight will be more.
3. Less prone to insects as flat is at good height from park

I am looking for any other factors and suggestion for which flat should i go.

Thanks

They are over running my yard and now I've found one inside the house!! We're not dirty people so it's freaking me out that they're under my couch!! They are awful, and I'm scared to step on one! So does anybody know what will repel them from coming in my house?

We built a house and moved in June we keep the air on 75 because it is so hot outside. I also keep all the ceiling fans on in every room because I can't stand for it to feel stuffy. Will it burn the motor up and do you think it raises our electric bill?

My place is full of freaking flies and I just want them to die!!! I have a fly swatter but it just isn't enough! I was thinking of either buying 20 venus fly traps and putting them on steroids, a.k.a, Miracle Gro; getting a vat of Raid and dousing my furniture, carpet, and walls in it; or just plain setting my place on fire. Can you think of a good way to get rid of flies????

There is hair dye that is soaked into the nails, its been there for some time. Is there any thing that will take it out so they look presentable for work? Do stores sell things like this? What are some brands of nail whitening products? Lemons and denture soak, I head but do these work fast enough?

My family and I recently purchased a new house- the previous owner had a cat that liked to use the linoleum by the front door as a toliet. It reeks of urine- that was the only problem with the house, and it was otherwise fine. We think its soaked in, because no matter how hard we scrub it still kind of smells. Help?

It is black on both ends with a yellow mid-section and has a black spot in the center of the yellow part. It looks kind of soft/spiky but I'm not touching it to find out what it feels like! They are all over our deck in the backyard.

My husband and I are staying with my in-laws and their house is just downright infested with roaches. I never had this problem before, because I am not dirty and disgusting and when we leave here, I really don't want to take them with us. I have tried Boric Acid, Boric Acid mixed with food and peanut butter and jelly and all kinds of stuff, I have tried roach spray, bombing and they can't afford to hire an exterminator. Right now, we have sticky roach paper down. I have tried spraying alcohol around and nothing seems to be working. It is so disgusting and I really want nothing more than to get rid of them. Can someone please help?

I've tryed to research these online and they seemed to be called Cellar Spiders. But the big question is how do I get rid of them. I have a phobia of spiders, so they need to go. Help!

I bought a plant from Home Depot a few weeks ago, and it was labeled as an aloe plant, but it obviously is not. It is about a foot tall, and curves about 80 degrees, but straightens upward everyday I water it. The leaves are green and sprout outward a few inches and hang like a palm tree. They grow all the way up the tree and are sort of waxy in texture... does anyone have any idea what kind of tree I might have? Free hive for whoever has the best answer:)

We bought the foam pads and corners for babyproofing a fireplace hearth. It came with some adhesive, but the 8-month-old pulled that off in 2 days. I went and bought a roll of super-duty double-sided tape at a hardware store and that lasted a week. I used Loctite PowerGrab, but that didn't adhere because the brick is painted and Powergrab has to have at least 1 porous surface. I try to keep him away from it, but it still needs the pads in case his 2 yr old sister pushes him into it. I'm looking at using a product called Sumo Glue. http://www.sumoglue.com Anyone have experience with this product? Any other suggestions? I am about ready to just tear the hearth down and put tile on the floor. Thanks for your help.

I've heard to use baby powder... but does it really work??? All suggestions are greatly appreciated...
