If it's on "silent" you won't be able to locate it. If your phone is definitely in your home, then you best turn "detective" & start searching for it. I guess it's a great reason not to leave it on "silent." Take a deep breath & try to think where you were when you last used it. If you remember who called you last & what time, then maybe that will tell you what you were doing at the time & where you were, if you weren't home. Good luck!!! Phones can slip into couches, under beds, under car seats or in between. Check your purse again & check your closet, etc. I hope you find it. Let me know!!!

Two questions... 1 - Do you know where you could have lost it and 2 - Was it a Cingular/AT&T phone? If yes to both then there is a possibility you can find it.

Bring a working AM/FM radio and another cell phone with you to the area where you think you lost the phone. Turn on the AM/FM radio. Call the lost phone with the cell phone you brought and walk around the area with the radio. You will start to hear interference from the radio when you get close to the phone and the interference will get louder as you get closer to the phone. Search in that area. Good Luck.

You can try to call the manufacturer of the phone or your service provider. Other than that, retrace your steps, try to think about the last place you saw the phone, or if you usually talk on the phone in the same spot, search there. One last thought, when the battery starts to die, the phone might start sending out a "low-battery" signal, so keep your ears open. Good luck!

Hmmm...that could be a problem. Have you tried thinking really hard and saying, "If I were a phone, where would I be?"

This sounds really silly, but it usually ends up helping me find things that I have lost. There is just something about it that makes your mind remember. It may not happen in one second, but after a while it comes to you.

Also, try not obsessing about it and just moving on to something else. Sometimes when we stop thinking so hard about something, it magically comes back into our mind and tells us the answer.

Good luck!

Call your carrier ASAP and they can locate it as long as it is on. Did this :) I have Verizon and they could find it, but if the battery dies or the phone is off they can't!!! Good Luck!!!!

I hate when that happens. Basically, pray to have your angels lead you to it, or bring it to you!! That works.

Not sure you can, other than crunch (when you step on it). Good luck!
