Its not cloged, because the water goes down. A coworker asked me this question and I told her ild ask on here. It there anything she can put down her drain to get rid of the smell?

not really sure what kind of drain or if theres a trap. Its at my coworkers house.

I put bleach down my drains once a month to keep them smelling fresh and running clear... I was told to do so by a friend who is a plumber.. good luck

What kind of drain is this? Washing machine or shower drain? Sound like you don't have a trap! You need a trap where water drains out or you will have a nasty odor because the water blocks the smell in the drain.

Try some baking soda with vinegar to get rid of the smell.

if its not clogged there might be something down there causing the smell, you could try pouring boiling water down the pipe to flush it out, or some bicarb soda and vinegar, just to clean it out of anything that might be down there?

baking soda works well for most odors of that type
