My husband and I are staying with my in-laws and their house is just downright infested with roaches. I never had this problem before, because I am not dirty and disgusting and when we leave here, I really don't want to take them with us. I have tried Boric Acid, Boric Acid mixed with food and peanut butter and jelly and all kinds of stuff, I have tried roach spray, bombing and they can't afford to hire an exterminator. Right now, we have sticky roach paper down. I have tried spraying alcohol around and nothing seems to be working. It is so disgusting and I really want nothing more than to get rid of them. Can someone please help?

I also want to add that we have tried that Combat Gold Gel and it sucks too, and Roach Motels.

Get Bengal Roach Spray and use the plastic tube that comes with it to spray into cracks all over the place. Pay particular attention to spaces behind and between cabinets (bend over with a flashlight and look up from counters at underside of wall cabinets for modular construction.)
Get an 1/8" inch drill bit and put a hole in the center front of the toe kick of each cabinet then put the tube in the hole and spray for about 4 seconds into the space below the bottom shelf. I have only a moderate periodic problem with roaches and was really bugged (ha) about where they were until I thought of this space.

Just like lice it is something that has to be treated over and over again.
The eggs hatch every 4 to 5 days. If the infestation is that bad it needs to be treated daily.
After paying for all of the over the counter items, it really would be worth paying for a professional. They need to come back several times.
Remember to take care for pets on the property. They can not be exposed to the pesticides.
As for lice Tea Tree oil works and is non toxic.

Good luck!

Diatomaceous Earth

DE is composed of finely milled fossilized shells of minuscule organisms called diatoms. The microscopically fine, sharp edges desiccate the insects' exoskeleton upon contact and the pests dehydrate and die within hours. The insects also die when they eat the dust.

i TOTALLY understand!!! we recently moved, and the house we moved from was infested with these disgusting creatures!!! (was that way before we moved in, unbeknown to us) the DE won't however kill the eggs. we made sure to clean everything well before packing into boxes. once we got moved into the new house, we sat the boxes in the garage and bombed it (Hot Shot Fogger). haven't seen any since!

good luck!

Is the house CLEAN? I have heard that in areas of where there are roaches, if you don't have a clean house then nothing is going to get rid of them......and I MEAN DEEP CLEAN.
