It's the best house i have ever seen in my life and i love the layout, plus i'm in to architecture. I have tried to get in contact with the company who built the home (Selko Structures) and ask them, i've sent about 10 emails, but have had no reply. I don't know anyone whose used them to build, so if you have, I'd love to hear your experience with them. Approximately how much per sf does it cost? On their website they have more standard home and nicer, higher end homes that we would be interested in. Any info on costs, people, quality would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm thinking about getting my bf a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day. I've given him bouquets a few times for regular days, but I want this one to be special. How many roses do I need to get for a fairly large size bouquet? I was thinking of 30 to 50. Is that too much or too little?

I just moved out of my apartment, and got my deposit check back in the mail and feel like I got screwed. It cost me 75 dollars for carpet deoderizing, but I was under the impression that if you lived at an apartment for longer than 2 years, when you moved out, they couldn't charge you for carpet because they have to replace it for sanitary reasons. Also some of the cleaning charges seemed excessive. Can anyone cite any official laws or anything to help me out?

What room or what feature of your house makes the biggest difference to you in the way you live?

What do you appreciate most about your home?.

Please also give your age and gender.

As a realtor I have found that people don't consider this enough when they buy a home and they focus on things that are less important.

Hi there,
Quick question: My bamboo plants keep dying all the time. I don't know why. They have water and everything. I buy them nice and green, they last for several months and then they suddenly for no reason start turning yellow, and then later black. Then they just sort of die off. Almost looks like they dried out, but that's impossible, cause they always have water in the pot. And it's always only one or two bamboos out of a bunch of them, like 20 bamboos and 3 start turning yellow. Why is that? Does anyone else have same problem? Please, advise. Tks.

We live in a small apartment with electric heat. Our electric bill is THROUGH THE ROOF!!! We thought by being on the third floor we'd catch a lot of heat from downstairs, and we do! But we live in Vermont, and its COLD!

Is there any sort of small heating unit I can get that is safe (I don't want anything htat could cause fires) and less expensive than electric heat?

Our apartment is VERY small, so we'd only need one little heating unit.

Any ideas?

I have to wipe the windows daily. The moisture covers the entire window on all of my windows. Can anyone tell me why this happens and is there anything i can do to prevent it? I have tried placing containers of salt on the window sil to soak up the moisture but this does not help. Does anyone have any advice. The house is well ventilated and i do not dry a great deal of washing inside the house. The neighbours windows are all moisture free?
