Ok here's the deal, i am looking for just a basic set of floorplans of ozzy's former home on 513 Doheny Rd, 90210... It's the best house i have ever seen in my life and i love the layout, plus i'm in to architecture. I have tried to get in contact with the company who built the home (Selko Structures) and ask them, i've sent about 10 emails, but have had no reply. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A COPY OF THESE PLANS??? Please i need help i am going crazy.

This question has gone four days without an answer. What you are after is going to be very hard to get unless you are willing to spend some money.

Chances are good that the original plans, and any subsequent plans, remain the property of the builders because they were copyrighted. There will be sets of plans on file at the appropriate Building Inspector's Office, but it is unlikely that you will be able to get access to them. One of the biggest reasons is security.

If you have the money and can convince the builder or architect that holds the copyright to the plans that you are serious, you should be able to purchase the plans. Another option rests with any real estate company that offers the property for sale. Actual blueprints may be hard to come by, but simple floor plans with room dimensions are another story. They are often provided to prospective buyers. Again, you will have to convince the real estate agent that you are a serious buyer before they will give you the information.

Homes like this in high priced neighborhoods are often sold via exclusive agency agreements with real estate companies. It is the responsibility of the real estate company to prescreen prospective buyers before showing the property or even providing sales materials such as detailed brochures. This is done so that the general public can't just show up and take a tour of the house when they really don't have the ability to buy.

Good luck with your search for information.
