Have Carpenter ants all around remote cabin. Every two years I get an infestation. Looking for legally available strong chemicals to use outside around the cabin to deter them in the fall and again in the spring. Get a lot of snow... all will wash away. Also - once in the cabin any recommendations on how to handle? I am already removing any/all damp areas (they are in the bathroom).

The company could'nt give a delivery time so just have to wait in. Does anybody else find this frustrating or am I just impatient? I had to take the day off work too.

D-Con, sticky traps, and traditional traps have not worked. Do I have to pay my rent? Can I call the Health Dept or something?
