Hell, yeah it is!
Warm weather, friendly people, one of the strongest economies in the country, great cities and greater countrysides! Why else did early settlers put GTT (gone to Texas) on their doors and just leave.

I you have untold millions and want a nice place on the beach then you may want to choose California or Hawaii. But, Texas gives you a big bang for the buck without the attitude! Hell Yeah!

Kind of depends on what you are looking for. If you like snow...then Texas probably isn't the state you want to live in. I have lived in California and Montana. I have family in (and have spent a good deal of time in) Washington, Tennessee, North and South Dakota, Kentucky and Iowa. I now live in North Carolina...I like it better here.

YES!.. I lived in Texas all my life and I love it here. It is a state of several different climates. Sure it gets hot here in the summer time but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I always thought Texas was, after living in Dallas 30 years. but I moved to Temecula California and, well, This is one nice place. The weather is unbeatable

I live in the state of Texas and most places are great but it just depends which oart you live in - country living is great, city living sucks unless you like murder, rape, robbery , ect--------
