i'm being charged £88 for the first month and then £99 for the next 3

anywhere from £20-£60 a month depending on your usage and time of year. I found that having a key meter was the best way to manage the cost of gas and electric, but its not for everybody.

Depends on what appliances you have ,if you have a gas oven gas central heating gas fires it will cost more obviously ,I have a three bedroomed bungalow with all the above and at the moment it is £58 per month

Both my friend and I with British Gas pay £40 per month all year round, both 2 bedroom flats, and pay weekly by card at PP centre, both have gas central heating.

For just gas its a little high.. Do a google search and compare the prices, you may well be paying too much.
