Actually milk will destroy the moss, leaving the grass unharmed. I use 'vitamin D' for best results.

Sulphate of iron comes in salts that you dilute in water and pour on the moss. It will kill the moss and make it turn black and you will be able to easily rake it out of the lawn.
Moss shady, waterlogged soil with poor drainage. You should aereate the area where the moss is growing. Just poke a garden fork in the soil and sweep some sand (not beach sand as it contains salt that will kill your grass) in the holes. That will help drainage and make the area less desirable for moss.

Like most lawns I see you are probably cutting it too short allowing the moss to dominate.You need some moss killer and grass seed from the garen centre and next year keep the mower blades up !!!!

moss grows in dampness you need to dig a trench to take away the excess rain water put some stone in the bottom of the tench refill with soil and reseed you will be able to remove the moss with a garden rack. it will Be hard work but well worth the effort
