i have been insulating hot water pipes in my basement and i noticed that as the hot water branches to go upstairs the copper pipe connects to grey tubing which then leads to a copper junction point then back to grey tubing. my question is do i insulate this tubing or the copper junction point? should i insulate my cold water pipes? if so, how far should i go?
thanks

I had a Halloween party last year and purchased the Visual Effects Super Fogger V-950 (around 300$) I used it once poured out the remaining fog liquid and stored it over the summer. I plan on having another party this year.. took out the fogger and it produced no fog what so ever.. I don't know if it is clogged.. I can't find manufacturer information.. I was wondering if any one had any helpful ideas..
Thank you!

In a multi-pack, screwdriver bit set, the following sizes are listed: "p0, p1, p2, phr2, p3...". I know that it is phillips0, phillips1... but what does the "phr2" stand for? Thank you.

I have an oblong plastic ducting pipe running along the top of my kitchen units. It then goes through a cavity wall. Inside wall is thermolite block and outside is brick. It then has a vent cover on it. There's room to do it and I need to move the vent cover about 3 inches to the left. How much would you pay a builder to do that and how long would it take him?

There is a foul smell coming from the shower drain and I can't figure out what the hell it is. It smells so bad. I have tried using drano twice and bleach twice and neither did a thing. I have a cover on the shower drain right now just to block the smell. Man it reeks. I know for sure it is the shower drain. Any ideas on what it is and how I can get rid of it?

I'm interested in figuring out how the governor works on my self propelled Honda lawnmower. I have a Honda HRX217HXA mower. Is the governor controlled by some sort of vacuum that is generated from the mower itself, or is it a mechanical device that does this. I'm asking this because I seem to be having a problem with my lawn mower idling when the blade is not engaged. I have removed and cleaned the jets with a compressor, but still when the blade is not engaged the idle goes up and then down and repeats this cycle until I engage the blade. If anyone has any ideas or can explain how the governor works I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Right, I have a small 12v fluorescent strip light bulb, just the bulb. And I want to power it from a 12v car battery. But I'm not sure how to wire it up, because I tried putting the - and + on the two ends on the one side and same other side but it doesn't seem to light properly. It lights but like only on the side I aply the power, as a normal strip light lights up all the way along the strip.

Thanks, Jamie.

My building's maintenance dept has been to my townhouse 3 times for a toilet that keeps overflowing. Everytime they come out they snake the line under the building, the last time they said they found nothing. Well, 3 days later and the toilet is clogged again. I have told them on two separate visits that I think there is something stuck in the toilet but they refuse to check it.

I can always tell 3 or 4 flushes before an overflow. The bowl will not drain all the way and there is a loud gurgling sound. There is also a foul odor after we flush.

We have been having problems since we moved in 5 mos ago and it's only me and my husband using the toilet so it's not us clogging it up.

There are dark stains around the toilet bowl.I found it difficult to remove them.I used Harpic cleaning gel but it doesn't work.Any altenative product that I can use to remove the stain?I believe the stain is caused by not flushing the toilet bowl on a regular basis.I think it is the residue of calcium crystal deposits that caused the stain.
