coating but several years later the problems continues. The dishwasher is old but seems to work fine. Do I have to get a new washer or can I buy a new basket? Is it even cost effective?

I live in Phoenix, AZ. My outside unit (compressor) does not start when it is hot outside (from around 1:00pm to 8:00pm); and if it does then it shuts down soon after. It works normal during all other times. The run and kickstart caps seem to be fine. The outside fan always blowing. So what is causing it not to work properly during the peak of the heat? The unit is 5 years old and always worked fine. No freezing either during that period of time. Could it be that the "radiator like" or coil section of the compressor needs cleaning? although it did not look anymore dusty then last 5 years.? or could it be that the compressor is going out and it's first symptom is not to work properly when it is too hot? Please help. Thanks.

I just replaced some light Fixtures on my House, and I had to go through most of my Breakers, just to find out which breakers control Power to my Light Fixtures. I had to Reset my Clocks, and all! A real pain!! I wouldn't of had any trouble, if I knew Exactly what Circuit breakers control What in my house!!

After replacing my Light Fixtures, I desided to find out what exactly all the other circuit Breakers did in my house.

I found that half of my Breakers needed Relabled, and I figured that it would be worth it, just to get a New Label Sheet, to rewrite everything on.

So my Question is, Where can I find Blank Circuit Breaker Labels?!? Is there any Blank Templates out there, on the Internet?!? I'm not looking for just little Stickers that say like, 'range', and that kind of stuff. I mean, the Sheet that is stuck to the back of the Circuit breaker Door/Cover, where the Electrician wrote on. My current sheet says basic stuff, like 'Lighting', and 'GFI/WPS' (I need a Blank one!!)

I want to paint just the trim (baseboards, etc.) in my kitchen. What kind of paint do I get? A clerk told me to use "Kilz" - but there's a bazillion different ones! The result I want is shiny and I only want to have to use one coat, so it should be thick. What do I ask for?

Also, should I "roughen up" the surface with sandpaper? (I'm painting over the same color) - do I have to do anything else first, during, or after?

hi, as owner i rent a studio and the tenant has 2 months to appear, he probably left for good, but for some reason, he took the keys with him and locked the door (this is not a joke altho it sounds like one)

i was wondering if i can picklock it with a pin or something, the door locker is a classical old one and it requires normally a large classic key, like the ones used to open steel gates in cottage houses

When I'm done showering and go to shut the water off, it is very difficult/too tight to twist to turn off (the knob is the one where you pull out to turn on, twist back in, to turn off). Takes me forever to shut off the water, even my bf can't do it. When we finally shut it off, the knob won't stay tight and water goes back on lighty....What to do? it's very annoying!

are there any chemicals or additives that you can recommend for a small (15X6) pool, to help stop or slow clouding? there is no filter, and we cover it up when it's not in use. thank you!

up a trailer at the end of the season. Can you leave clothes,t.v.,
bedding, towels, toothpaste shampoo etc. I know not to leave paper products, but what about the rest? Store stuff in rubber bins, but how, in plastic or what? I know about kitty litter and bayleaf and bounce. I used to take everything home but it's becoming a pain going up two stories.

I've got a twisting sort of lock, not a push button sort. One of the kids locked it from the inside and shut it. I took of the outer door knob, and back door knob came off in the process, too. So now I'm looking at only the innards of a door knob. I've tried pushing against the levers that I see, but nothing springs loose. The locking thing just seems stuck. What do I do from here? How do I get the door to open?
