I have two bathrooms. Both have good water pressure from the tub, but one has lower pressure from the shower head. What is the best way to trouble shoot the issue?

If it's a newer shower head it will have a water saving feature in it. Take the head off and look inside. You may have to remove a washer to see a very small rubber ring inside the head. Pick that lil fella out of there and you will now have pressure.

i had this problem. I took off the shower head that had the low pressure and put the other one that had regular pressure. From that i was able to deduce that it was the shower head that was the problem.
I noticed that there were some pebbles in the shower head, so i cleaned the shower head. I also bought a water filter for my shower head at home depot and installed it. That solved my problem....i live in LA and have old pipes, so theres a bunch of crap in the water that the filter is able to get out.
If you put the shower head that is known to have good pressure on the shower that has bad pressure and you still have low pressure, then you may wanna call a plumber...

There's shower heads out there that are specifically made for low pressure. You may want to try one of those.
Newer heads have water saving features that can make it seem like you have no water pressure. So you may wanna try a cheap one or a old one.

There's a "water saver" in the shower head, it's a small white disc, usually, may be black. Take this out, sometimes they're put in permanently, you'll have to drill it out with a 3/8 inch drill bit. It's only thin plastic.

If one is fine it's probably not minerals in the water but you can soak the showerhead in a solution of CLR to try to unclog it anyway. If that don't do it check your shower valve body for debris or try a new head.

Just go get an old fashioned cheap shower head and a roll of teflon tape and replace that fancy piece of garbage.
