I have a combination boiler (I think) and our shower doesn't go hot - the other hot taps in our flat turn the hot water on (you can hear the boiler fire up), but the shower doesn't. It used to! And the pressure is lower than it was too. Any simple answers for a non-plumber?

Does anyone know how to properly insulate the attic or who to go to and how expensive it is? Is bad insulation the reason for ice dams in your gutters?

Our rural cabin is used about once/month. A few months ago, there were mouse feces everywhere - on top of the bedspread, pillows, shelves, food cans etc.(The mice are now gone) How to clean up? yes to a mask (does it need to be a respirator type) and disposable gloves. Can the bedspreads etc, be washed in a public laundromat - not leave any residue for the next customer? In gathering up the mouse feces, do you put it with other garbage or it goes to toxic disposal? What about using a vacuum-do toxins get in the discharging air?

We own a home that our master bedroom and master bath is above our garage. I looked up in the back of our garage and noticed the dry wall wet. "not soaked". I traced it to our bathtub/shower. i toar out the insulation that was wet, then i sealed all of the conecting points on all of the pipes. It stayed dry for 3 days and yet again now it is damp in that area again. It seems to dry up a couple of days. would mold be a factor with the insulation, and anyone would know a trick to fix this.

I bought a lock for my fridge because every weekend I am gone - people steal beer every time. I drilled into the side and a lot of air came out and I think I broke the compressor or something. I brought the fridge used for like 50 bucks so is it work fixing or not because the ice is starting to melt at the top so i dont think the fridge works anymore.
