My fridge is forming a pretty good size chunk of ice on the inside, on the top panel. This ice is slowly dripping on top of my food and everything inside the fridge. My fridge is not pushed all the way up against the wall either. Why is this happening? My fridge is also set in the middle of the adjusting scale for coldness.

I have 2 toilets in my home one upstairs one downstairs...the toilet upstairs flushes everytime but the toilet downstairs will only flush 50% of the time meaning you have to take a plunger to it to get the waste to go down..its not stoped up already checked that...anyone out there have any ideas on what could be the problem...knowing that the concept of a toilet is gravity it seems like the water doesnt escape as fast from the flush box as the one upstairs....are there any plumbers out there that can give me some ideas to resolve this toilet problem.....

I'm replacing my fuel oil tank. It has two 3/8" lines coming out of the top of tank running to the pump on the furnace. One enters the pump at the bottom of the pump, the other at the side of the pump. Both lines, once removed, appear to go almost all the way to bottom of tank.
One must be a supply line to the furnace, is the other also a supply line, or a return? If its a return, how do I determine which is which? There is no external filter to indicate which may be a supply, but I would like to install one while I'm doing the exchange of tanks. Any advise greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am hooking up a new whole house humidifier to my furnance and it calls for typical thermostat wire. I have some excess single strand 18/20 gauge wire and was wondering if using that and twisting them along the whole run will somehow effect the current/volts?

The only reason I ask is that on a new electric dog fence, they include twisted wire for you to use in areas that you so not want the dog to get shocked. (ie-it cancels the signal in that area when you use the twisted wire).

Thanks

I am looking at the ones with the freezer on the bottom. I have heard that Amana are a good brand. Any suggestions, complements, complaints about any specific brands would be appreciated. What about GE? I saw a GE Profile that would fit great!!

I'm going to need about a dozen ordinary house-bricks for a job in the house, but am not sure whether how they are sold. Is it possible to buy bricks individually (or in small amounts) or do you have to buy them by the gross or something. I don't want to go on the thieve from a local building site for the few bricks I need, but if I can't buy just a few rather than loads I might just have to. Anyone have an idea of price per brick. Pennies, surely?
