Goo Gone and a comb. But, before you try the Goo Gone, test it in a hidden area, just to make sure it doesn't harm the carpeting.

Try a product you can get at the Home Depot called "Terpentine" - I know it works to get gum out of carpets/hair.

Let it completely dry then take a spoon and scrap it out of the carpet.

I would suggest buying the product OXY clean. You can get it at Target or walmart. Its not too pricy. Get the spray kind not the powder.

Use a corse scrub brush and make the kiddies scrub away..after you get it loose, vacume. If it is not dry playdough and recently done...use a hair dryer to dry it first.
