My sister and I live in my grandparents house. It's getting cold outside so we thought we'd check to see if the furnace would work. I switched it over to heat nothing happened. I checked the breaker box and everything is fine. Then we realized that the pilot had been turned off. We need help with lighting it. We don't know how to go about it b/c it's 25 years old and I have no idea if there's an igniter button or we have to actually light it with a match. If we do where do where do we light it at, what does the pilot light look like? There is a silver Honeywell box and it says "push man and pull auto". Does that have anything to do with it? The heater is a Rheem model # RGAA - 150C.

Found out the tub has a leak. The wall suround has to be removed.
The floor is wet and rotten(plywood) so the floor must be cut out and replaced by new plywood. (that also means the toillet has to be removed and put back after the floor replacement)
Do you call a carpenter or a plumbmer?

Hi i recently purchased a stackable washer and dryer and the owner explained it woud be okay for my small apartment. He told me that the unit was only used for a few years but after further research...it's been around for 20...anyway it has a three prong cord, made by whirlpool, electric, 2 long hoses, a dryer vent, and a small black scrunchy thing?...(it looks like water is suppose to run out of it). As you can see I am clueless. Please offer any advice...I'm on a budget :-) I can take pics please offer an email address. Thanks in advance

It is so dangerous and the city comes out once a year to look at it and take pictures. License and inspections won't help. I have called the local news and the mayor's office. I have thought about calling the local SPCA and showing them how dangerous it is for the dog. I usually don't let him out there but he needs air when I can't take him out.

I have gotten rid of the swings and built a makeshift fence around it. Please tell me how to get help? This has been going on for over 18 years.

I turned on my self-cleaning oven and left. When I got back, my house was full of smoke and my stove had pretty bad smoke stains. I tried lots of different cleaners to no avail. Any suggestions?

I found a really nice bedroom set that is made of particle board. I've only owned real wood furniture but I love this bedroom set that I've found. What are the pros and cons of having particle board furniture in your home?

Our gas water heater has never given us problems, but tonight when we filled our bathtub, we ran out of hot water halfway through the filling. However, in 20 minutes the water started to get hot again and in an hour's time, it was back to HOT. Is this normal? Why did we lose hot water when none of us were home to use any hot water during the day (other than our morning showers)?

I went over there today, and some sort of critter had chewed through the floor and entered the house. It snatched a blanket from the baby bed, and tried to pull it through the hole in the floor. Does anyone know what this could be and how I could get rid of it?

Hi,
My existing heating system has a 9 " duct which the heat comes out of. I cannot find any 9" flexible duct to use on my addition. I tried to special order it, but all they carry is 8" and 10". Can I use 10" flexible duct on the 9" duct coming out of the heater, or is there a better way to do it?? Any help would be appreciated.
