I turned on my self-cleaning oven and left. When I got back, my house was full of smoke and my stove had pretty bad smoke stains. I tried lots of different cleaners to no avail. Any suggestions?

First of all you should never leave while the stove is on. I'm scard to because this is my only home. To remove the stains try Simple (Mean) Green and a 'soft' scratch pad. It works wonders. Also Krud Kutter works REALLY good.

I use magic stove cleaner. U can get it basicly anywere. Just spray let it sit there for about 5-10 minutes for best results. Hey I'm still new to the site and trying to find out more. One of the things that confused me is the little flag that say's report abuse what does that mean?
