Found out the tub has a leak. The wall suround has to be removed.
The floor is wet and rotten(plywood) so the floor must be cut out and replaced by new plywood. (that also means the toillet has to be removed and put back after the floor replacement)
Do you call a carpenter or a plumbmer?

Dont call a contractor. You will have to pay more money then you want too.
Rule of thumb u have a problem and lets say 70%is due to a leak you call a plumber if you had 70% with a roof leak and your drywall was trashed you dont call a drywaller you call a roofer.
Most 95% of plumbers have others they use to do wood work
ECT.
Plus you want the plumber and Carp- to be good together working if you get 2 different people that dont know eactother then you can run into a problem.

Both, but call the plumber first to remove the surround and the toilet, and fix the leak. Then call the carpenter to fix the floor. The carpenter might even re-install your toilet once finished. It only takes a few minutes, but you have to purchase a new wax seal.

you will need a capenter to do the floor, but the plumbing issues will not be as hard to fix, If you are handy, you can handle the plumbing problems, but you will certainly need the carpenter for structural reasons.
