It is so dangerous and the city comes out once a year to look at it and take pictures. License and inspections won't help. I have called the local news and the mayor's office. I have thought about calling the local SPCA and showing them how dangerous it is for the dog. I usually don't let him out there but he needs air when I can't take him out.

I have gotten rid of the swings and built a makeshift fence around it. Please tell me how to get help? This has been going on for over 18 years.

If it's that bad, I'm sure it won't take much for it to fall down. During the winter, when the wind picks up, go out in the middle of the night, and push it over...away from your house of course. Make sure no one sees you though. Then it'll be blamed on the wind.

I have delt with this before.
And there is only so much you can do.
But i have some ?s you said you put a fence around it? Around what your neighbors garage?
I hope this dont sound mean but its simple
Put a fence up in your yard to stop your dog from getting near the garage .
If the city and others have been looking at it then you can only do so much.
You could hire a ATT but it wont be cheap either.
There are laws that protect you but also protect your neighbor.
This kinda sounds like you dont like the neighbor or how his garage looks and it makes your house looks bad and you want it down for a different reason. I could be wrong and if I am Im sorry.
But if the city comes out cuz you called and its still up then they seem to feel the garage is safe.
But alot also depends on where you live.
So drop me a line or edit your? and add where the fence is and what the city has told you and so on.
And also There are alot of people out there that have problems with someones house or garage your not special. Not to be mean but the city hears and sees this all the time. I have seen garages that if you leaned on them they would fall but they still stand till this Day.
Im a contractor and I have had Inspectors on jobs and asked them about things like this and alot say Hey it might be in bad shape but everything is up to code when it was built and no work needs done to it so they cant make them rip it down just because it looks bad.
Or you could move.
I know you wont like most of what I said So I am truely sorry if I upset you And also sorry for your neighbor. Some people dont care about there stuff or just dont have the money

You really need to invest in seeing a good lawyer. I know that where I live, you can force a neighbor to take action on his property (like cut down trees, fix a building, etc.) if the problem is a dangerous or very disturbing one. It will cost you tho....

Good luck....

Have you ever thought that the next time there is a high wind condition that with a little help it would be flat to the ground.
