I was in Sears the other day and I brought my vaccum in to get serviced. The counterperson asked me if I wanted to pay money for an extended warranty for my washer and dryer and I said no. I bought the washer and dryer at Sears.
A few weeks later my dryer is not working very well. I need to get it fixed.
If I get the extended warranty, and then call Sears a few weeks later and tell them that my dryer is broken, I assume a red flag will come up. Sears will be suspcious and probably question me on that.
I am sure someone has been in the situation before. Any help would be great.

I had to fix my riding lawn mower yesterday. I ran over a dog chain that was lying in the tall grass. I could have left it and waited for my husband to get home but i figured i would give it a shot. I had to take the mower deck off, untangle the chain, put the belt back in place and put the mower deck back on.. (ALL BY MYSELF) if anyone has ever done this they know how difficult it is.. im so proud of myself. i have never fixed anything like this before.. Have you fixed something that usually men fix and are pretty darn proud of yourself?

I have one of the Mitsubitshi Mr Slim (ductless split conditioner) units installed in my bedroom. The problem is that it emits a mildewy / foul smell when I leave it to run on "fan mode". It does not emit stinky air though when I put it on low temperatures (which involves the compressor running). I wonder what is the reason for that, and how I can get rid of that smell once and for all. Please help and thank you!

I have already removed the hydraulic filter and drained it overnight and pulled the plug under the hydraulic pump and drained that. I then ran the engine and I thought all the hrdraulic fluid poured out but after re-filling the system I obviously had lots more water still in it. Any ideas besides pulling all the hydraulic lines etc. Thanks for any answers

I have a maytag portable rolling dishwasher that you are supposed to hook up to the kitchen sink. I bought it used so there are no instructions. I have the piece that screws into the faucet head securely in place and there is an extra rubber seal that I'm not sure where it goes. On the dishwasher I have one of the white quick disconnect hoses that is supposed to snap over the screwed on piece. But, I guess I'm not doing it right because its leaking. Is there anyway someone can describe to me how its supposed to look? Or where that extra seal is supposed to go?

Thank you!
Adriene

I made sure the surfaces were as dry as possible. One brand of caulking I used wouldn't even stick to wall, the second one I used seemed to work really well, then after about a month it starts to split and separate from the wall and or the tub, why does it do this?

I've noticed some black stains or streaks on top of the roof and was told that it's a mold problem. I didn't see any leaks under the roof when I checked the attic and the roof is under sun all the time.
Thanks for your response.

has 1 bar in ceramic block which glows when current feeds it. 24v? i tried hooking ignitor to battery charger [12v] & got nothing, not even a spark when touching poles. i tested power feed lines to ignitor,on furnace, & got power but i dont know if enough to warm ignitor at all. 3v continuity tester also coulnt flow thru ignitor . furnace codeflash indicates: ignitor failure, low voltage, bad ground.

I've noticed a build up between the tiles and where the tiles and the top of the bathtub meet. I can't seem to get this completely clean. I've tried scrubbing with Ajax and Comet and numerous other bathtub and tile cleaners and it never comes completely clean. How do you get between the tiles and tub completely clean like new?

Just replaced a 3 prong with a 4 prong dryer cord. There was an existing green wire from the inside of the dryer connected to the outside screw. I connected the new neutral wire from the pigtail to the grounding screw but don't know what to do with the other green wire. There was no grounding strap on this dryer.
