There are polishing kits available. The procedure is a series of polishing with a grit that gets finer and finer as you go. The only industry that I know of that uses the kits is in aircraft maintenance. The kits will most likely be hard to find. The final grit no is around 6000 so that gives you an idea of how fine it is. As a comparison the grit sizze for sanding wood is usually between 80 and 180-240.

You can try using hob cleaner which is a fine polish but if the scratch is in any way deep, you will expend a lot of energy removing it.
If you're going to scap out the top anyway, give it a try.

if there is a glass shop in your area, they may have a cleaner that works like the stuff that takes scratches out of eye glasses. that will take the scratches out. they may even do it for you.

you'll need serium oxide and a drill with a polishing wheel . . it is a slow and tedious process . . .my husband is in the stained and leaded glass restoration business and the only time polishing out scratches is worth the time and effort is on antique bevels that can not be reproduced . . . unless you've got lots of time on your hands just order a new one from a local glazing company.

seriously dont even bother trying you will be thre for hours and the scratches will still be thre. Just go to your local glazers and order a new piece, although sometimes it might be cheaper to get a new table.

nope, you cant get scratches out. you would need to have a new top cut. you can polish with rouge (jewelers polish) but that is not really removing the scratch.
