roofing material- length x width divided by 100 and then add 10% for waste...felt 1 roll covers about 400 sq ft.....some shingles take 3 bundles to a sq and some r 4.....

I don't really know what you want but if you want to find out how much roofing material you need you measure length times width that gives you the square feet. Then there are 100 square feet in a square a square is equal to 3 bundles on shingles.

length of one sideof roof...times the width...times 2...add 5%
