Due to the heat, the wood of my door has swelled. It squeaks, due mostly to it hitting and rubbing against the floor and I was just wondering if there's anything I can do about this?

The refrigerant line (larger insulated line from condenser) seem to cool (and moist) temporarily after the unit is turned on but warms up after a few minutes. I have confirmed that the compressor is running by briefly running the unit while the condenser fan and motor (which runs okay too) is disconnected. There's no ice formation on my furnace's evaporator coils either. Is this a leaked or undercharged refrigerant problem or is it more likely that the compressor is at fault inspite of the fact that it is running?

When I bought my new little house the backyard is fully landscaped with little rocks in the side yard (area of about 12 x 6 feet ?? im really not good with estimating measurments). Anyway, I have called around to all the businesses and they won't do it unless they can get a bobcat in here... well that's not possible with the homeowner's association. We have tried shoveling up the rocks, but we don't have a truck right now. Any suggestions? We need to plant grass for my puppies!!!

I recently moved into a new place, and the locks on the patio door and windows don't work. However, there are steel bars provided for all, that I can put between the window and frame of the wall to stop someone from sliding them open from the outside.

The owner, says since the condo is on the third floor of a 3 flat building, and the area is very quiet and residentail, that is sufficient. He also said, the steel bar is more secure than a lock on the window or door.

Would it be too petty for me to request the locks be fixed on all the above? Or what can I buy to lock the sliding windows and patio doors from the inside without the Landlord's assistance?

I suspect the owner would have to replace the windows ect to fix the locks. I'm not sure. Thanks

the pressure will range from 60# to 0# and the pump seems to be turning on whenever it likes

I left a note on his door asking him to stop by when he got my note. When he came by I was very friendly and informed him of the damage and and showed the damaged area to him. He agreed that the damage was caused by work being done on his house, but refused to pay the amount necessary to have it repaired. After he walked away, I found 3-$100 bills on the ground where he was standing. Should I give it back to him?

I have shelves which roll in and out of the cabinets. They are supported by runners, which in turn are attached to the particle board with screws. The weight of the shelves and stuff on them, forced the shelves to collapse, bringing down the runners too, and in turn the screws. I want to re-attach the runners, but want a solution which will leave the screws tight inside, to support the shelves. i need help!
