Have lawn mower with engine that"skips". Sounds like clogged air filter, but cleaned and still skips. Suggestions anyone? I have had someone recommend putting Engine cleaner, "Heat" in it and letting it run, but could it be something else? I don't even know where to look next. Briggs & Stratton push lawnmower engine.

I have an old edison light bulb. It is mounted in a wooden base with screw down wire connecters on each side of base. wires are sealed in wax. This does not appear to be the 50 year commerative that was made just before the great depression. These bulbs had a metal tag mounted to the base. This base has no tag and no holes where the tag might have been. Any idea of value or how to tell if it's authenic.

I want to remove a 20V under-counter hockey puck halogen light. Can I simply connect together the red and black wires (those that were used to mount the light) with a wire nut and tuck them back behind the dry wall and patch up the hole?

i bought this window unit air conditioner tonight form Home depot. It is an LG room air-conditioner that directions make you feel like you have to be a brain surgeon to understand. I have installed window ac units atleast 100 times in my life but this is the question. I just got home , its too late to make a lot of noise cause old mean lady under me will instantly call the police and say that someone upstairs is fighting, or she will say, he is selling drugs cause he is white and some black guy came to his house last night after 10pm with a bag in his hand and only stayed for 2 or 3 minutes. She told him this happens like once a week. This has no relevance to my question but I had to explain why I cant install the unit this late, its 1:30am in morning. Black dude is delivery guy from sub shop in town. My poor old neighbor is a pain in the ***. Ok, question is, and I am serious, I want to run this unit tonight, why do I need a window? why not sit it on a table top and catch water in pan

I have a Bissell steam cleaner and use quality carpet shampoo. I also pre-treat. It looks clean right after shampooing, but within a week or so, it looks worse and worse! I have Dupont Stainmaster carpet - top of the line stuff.
