First of all, my heart goes out to you. Second, the washer is probably ruined by the saltwater and other things that got into it. You could have an appliance repair person check it out. But the timer and motor will be the most vulnerable to water damage.

Probably not. The motor will most likely be ruined. Just get a new one to save you the headache.

i am sorry that you had to go through that first of all. and i don't think it will still work. you are probably better off just getting a new one. if it can be fixed it will cost you more to have it fixed than it would to just buy a new one. unfortunately, that's how things are today. it's cheaper to buy new than to fix what we have.

The motor may have been shorted out. I wouldn't count on it working. If it was shorted out, nothing will happen when you plug it in and turn it on.

No. go buy a new one instead of just wasting your time to fix it.
