Ummm... a bit of a discrepancy, here...... 'laminate' usually refers to HPL (High Pressure Laminate)... and anything with this on it, would not be considered an 'antique'. Also.... the core material of this type of table, would normally be particle board.... not antique either....

So, the question becomes... just what have you got? lol

The repair techniques for a 'laminate' table, versus a solid wood, or even a wood veneer (with wood core) will be different.

NONE of these repair techniques are fast, or easy.... they require some talent, the right tools, patience, and an artistic bent.

If repairing a true laminate table.... you are going to need some resins, some stains, sanders, graining tools etc. I have repaired furniture like this, and know it can be done...

Your best bet, at this point... is to have a repair person from a furniture store, or antique store, come to visit you, and look at your table. They will probably want to take the table to their shop to work on it. This is not the kind of repair that most folks can do, as a 'do it yourself' project.
