I live in South Florida and can't find any independant test results to demonstrate whether this product really strengthens windows. I live on the 9th floor of a condo and am not worried about something flying into my windows. I just want to keep the windows from breaking in strong winds.

I've had a wasp's nest on my back porch for a little while now, and it has been growing! I don't have anything to protect my face, as of now, so I've been putting it off. Any suggestions about the best way to remove it? At night? Any special chemicals? Horror stories welcomed :)

I just bought a 800sqft house. It does not have central air and it came with one large window unit that does not work. I am considering buying two smaller window units and put in two different rooms instead of one large window unit, but I don't know if it would use more electricity up that way or not. Can anyone help me?

Isn't there a way I can sand it down or something. I really don't want to pay a handyman for something I can do myself.

The bathtub is 50 years old, with a plunger-style tripwaste - i.e., you move the lever that's under the faucet, and it plugs up the drain without your seeing the plug.

When you unscrew the cover over that lever, the tripwaste mechanism is supposed to come with. Problem is, the thing is so old that the lever has corroded off and the mechanism/plunger are permanently clogging up the drain. The tub drains, but very slowly. I have tried pouring down boiling water, white vinegar, and drano. Have tried pulling on the tripwaste with pliers. Even tried using a toilet plunger, which actually helps the water flow slightly faster, but doesn't loosen the corroded mechanism.

Plumbers say they'd have to tear apart the wall, for lots of $$$. Isn't there any other way?? Help!!!

First, I am planning on installing the unit myself. I have a gas furnace and a condenser outside. They are both Lennox however, the unit inside was made in 1974 while the unit outside had been recently replaced in 2002. The evaporator coil was replaced as well. I was looking very carefully at the furnace unit in the basement of my house and noticed it appears to be connect to the ducts and it sits on the floor. It is rectangular and is approximatley 5ft by 2ft. It appears to be something that you can disconnect and remove yourself I notice when looking online the gas furnaces they are of similar size and you can make it fit by cutting appropriate size adaptor to fit your existing ductwork. Of course, there are gas lines you may need to cut etc... The only thing I was wondering about does the evaporater coil in the house need to be changed as well with the new furnace. Finally I was wondering are GOODMAN a good company they commonly sell them new on ebay.

I need to press the opener again and then the garage door goes back to close position. I have checked the springs (they were replaced only 5 months ago).
