sylvania is like they only brand I see anymore and they are just crap in my house...any insite?

it depends are you the right wattage of light bulb? all of your light fixtures have a wattage rating check the socket on the light fixture it should tell u what wattage of light buld to use Now if your reffering to a flourscent light make shure your using the right lamps there are two types t-12 r your thicker lamps the t-8 will thinner lamps ;check the ballast it will tell u which 2 use

You could be having the same problem we had in our home, old wiring and not enough breakers to hold the load of what we needed. It seemed like a domino effect in our home within a month of replacing a bulb they would all start going out again. Try switching to the coiled flourecent bulbs, we did this and they are very energy efficient and since we replaced every bulb with these over a year ago we have not had to replace one yet.

Probably manufacuters have reduced the materials used to the minimum, and your power grid might be getting more spikes from extra appliances etc.

get the low energy flourecent bulbs & save yourself money long term, and reduce the need for new power satations
