Isn't there a way I can sand it down or something. I really don't want to pay a handyman for something I can do myself.

Is it a wood door?

buy a plane. They're pretty cheap. you can plane the sides of the door. But the top and bottom are more difficult because then you'll be going against the grain.

Take the door off the hinges first.

If the door is warped it would be very difficult to fix it. If by warped you mean maybe the bottom of the door is hitting the door stop and the top is sticking out you could do some adjusting on the door stop by removing it, closing the door then reinstall the stop to just touch the door. The stop will now be crooked but the door will appear to fit.

Likely the door is not warped, but the frame is out of square. If the door is just barely not fitting, or just barely dragging, you can try tapping the frame back into square with a hammer.
Place a scrap of wood on the part of the door frame that you want to adjust and hit the wood scrap with the hammer so you don't damage the frame.
Hope that helps.

If you have carpentry skills, it should be easy to plane it. If you don't, it won't. It'd be worth it to either hire a handyman or get a new door. If it's an internal door, you can get them for pretty cheap.
