I need to press the opener again and then the garage door goes back to close position. I have checked the springs (they were replaced only 5 months ago).

Better get a new one. I had one that did that several years ago, and when I took the cover off the opener, I found shavings everywhere and the drive gear was stripped! The grinding / rattling noise was the gear rapidly disintegrating!

My guess is that the track is jammed. Pull the release cord and try lifting the door manually. If it travels all the way up with not problems, the track is clear and the motor or its chain is at fault.
If there are no visible obstructions in the track but it is still binding up, check to make sure the track hasn't bent or that two pieces of track aren't out of line.

If the door moves fine with the release cable pulled, then the motor or travel arm is at fault and I would recommend calling the manufacturer.

Similar problem a while back. Standing inside of garage w/ door in stuck position look at the wheels running inside the track. Check all of them to see if any are getting stuck or trying to jump out of the track. May be bent track or broken wheel.

Mine does that when the weather gets really hot. I think the door or the wooden frame expands in the high heat and humidity. If I apply a little pressure in the direction that it's heading it will usually works OK. As soon as it cools down, it stops. Also a little WD40 helps.

Try to watch the chain assembly there at the motor as you attempt to open it, is it loose and chain slipping..?
I believe there is a way to tighten those with just a screwdriver or crescent wrench/vice grips

You might need to increase the tension on the pull chain. This is usually done with a tension screw on the side of the main gear box, or refer to your owners' manual. At leaset that's what I had to do with mine. Hope that helps.
