I live in South Florida and can't find any independant test results to demonstrate whether this product really strengthens windows. I live on the 9th floor of a condo and am not worried about something flying into my windows. I just want to keep the windows from breaking in strong winds.

My Brother, in Michigan bought windows, and it cost him 2 grand apiece! You can drop a 16 pound bowling ball on this, or STAND on the glass!! And it will not break!

It was bullet proof, and that is the reason why he liked it, to add value to his house.

Tinting will not stop it from breaking. It has to be already tempered to a certain stress point, not to break in a high wind.

I would check the internet, and then around your area for windows that hold up to the wind...

I wish you well..

It most likely will not prevent breakage, but reduce the shattering and amount of shards of glass in an incident. Probably as efficient as putting a masking tape "X" across the window. Structurally, it's of no significance.
