How often do I have to water my RED Cordyline? It says just to keep it moist and I am afraid of over and under watering it. Any advice would be great thank you.

I always put distilled water, then I ran out about two weeks ago and started filling it with tap water, then I noticed the beautiful blue river rocks, started being corroded with this yucky white stuff....is there simple way to return my rocks to a healthy color?

Can you tell me the brand name(s) of this product? I have tried watering the lawn 3 times/week and it's still brown. OK, it went without watering for about 3 weeks but it appears to be in the process of getting greener now. I just wanted to dye the grass so it would be more uniform in color. Thanks.

My friend's mom called it 'sheep's breath', but I can't find it under that name on the internet. It look like a 3-leaf clover, but smoother and the leaflets are kind of heart-shaped. It has little yellow flowers, and tastes kind of lemony.

I recently received a pet to take care of. He's a little puppy and he does his business inside the house. I think that maybe that's the reason the mosquitos are here. I already took the puppy outside & that's where It will stay. I sprayed Lysol everywhere but It doesnt help. Help me out. Please.

What are some easy-to-grow, fall-blooming flowers that I could plant now? I live in New Mexico, which has a pretty hot, dry climate.

5 days and the seeds look the same.
I have grown generic-mixture grass with no problem. proper watering. Used starter soil etc.

I did the same and it seems to take forever.

I bought "Pennsylvania State" grass, a hybrid that grows perfect in Western Pa. Designed for moderate walking, grows in shade and sun, and stays green and healthy year round.

My back yard is a concrete pad fenced in with cinderblock. PLUS its int he heart of a "reviving" neighborhood, so anything I do has to either be too heavy to steal of something I can chain to something to prevent theft.
I am thinking I can probably grow some trees in 60 gal trash cans (rubber or plastic). They would be too heavy to move I am guessing.
Can I grow rose bushes in them? I have seen people plant those copper colored japanese elms in them and it looks really good.
Impatens fromt he 2nd floor windows. What else can I do??
Ive been living in basements for the past 10 years and Ill finally have sunshine :)

Do I need to take the pits out or will the heat in the pile kill them? I have plums and apricots dropping right now. I'm canning as much as I can, but my trees are overly abundant this year.

I have chlorine, Ph plus, Ph minus, some sort of metal out, clarifier, new filters & more. Have followed the instructions given by the local pool store clerk. Have waited four days and no change. Should I empty it and start filling it all over again. (this is well water) or have water delivered for $180?

I saw this commercial for a grass seed that said it would grow grass even on top of concrete. It also siad it would make your grass thicker and greener. I also remember it comes in a bucket and the seeds sort of look like small green balls.

I wanted to order some plants from www.directgardening.com and was wondering how the plants would come? I wanted to order some hedges and it doesn't say anywhere on there how they come. How tall they are or anything! Any help? I've never ordered plants over the internet before so I'm a little shady about ordering.

Don't know if it matters but I want to order the Purple Leaf Plum Hedge.
