It sounds like you mean single family detached houses, check with the local sub division laws and find out the minimum lot size allowed. Usually the smallest size is 5000 sf for a townsite.
If you live in a rural or suburban area, the laws may require larger lots sizes or even a full acre or more for each house.
So for most townsites the calculation would be:
0.3 acres is approx. 13000 sf./5000 = 2.6 or 2 lots since lots must be a minimum size and you could build one house on each lot.
Start with your local zoning or call a local architect to check it out.
good luck

It's just an opinion, but I think .30 acres is too small for even one house. But as a matter of fact, rather than just my personal opinion, how many houses can fit on .30 acres will depend on the zoning laws at the site and the size of the houses. You can fit a four bedroom, 3000 sq ft house on .30 acres.

egads people... .3 acre is like a double or triple lot in many towns! I have such a property and its 67 feet by 250 ft...
I would say 2 houses but it also depends on zoning... my neighbor next door has a 50 ft by 100 ft lot..

1 acre = 42k sq/ft
.30 = 12.600 sq/ft
You can only fit a 1200-1300 sq/ft home with 3/2/1 + small pool or jacuzzi or deck with patio and small driveway to fit 1 or 2 vehicles.

U could probably do several townhouses, building up and possibly adding basement levels to increase actual living space.
