The reason you should mow it right away is because it has gotten long. If you wait then it will turn yellow after the cut. If the grass is really long then you should set the mower at it's highest level so the grass will stay green then cut it again in a week at a lower level. Be sure to bag the cuttings if you have a bagger or just rake up the cuttings and put them out for the trash. Keep the grass cut regularly at a 2 or 3 inch height and you won't have any problems.

It's Friday afternoon - relax it's the end of the work week. Mow Saturday morning around 10:00 a.m. -- not too early but still cool enough and then still have plenty of time to enjoy your weekend.

Now. The grass will be taller later, plus the weather will be hotter or wetter later, plus something will come up forcing you to do it when you REALLY don't want to

Mow it now, and get it over with. You'll feel better knowing it's already done (plus your lawn will look nicer).

You've had a tough week at work, take a break, relax, you have all weekend to mow. Do it tomorrow morning when it is cooler. Right now it is marguerita time!

Wait until tomorrow and then use round-up grass killer. Then you shouldn't have to worry about mowing it for a while.

No, not yet come over and cut mine first. It will only take about an hour. By then you will be ready to take on your lawn.

Do it tomorrow in mid-morning. Too hot to do it today and you appear to not have the ambition to do it now anyways.
