Hello, I bought three Herbs from the supermarket the other day, Parsley, Basil and Mint. I could follow the intructions on the side to water the roots and not the leaves, but what else can I do to prolong the llife of these herbs? Could i re-pot them into something bigger, and how should i harvest the leaves?

I bought 3 beautiful flower plants a couple weeks ago. (I forgot the name of them.) I planted them in pots, and now all three have stopped blooming. The leaves look great but no more blooms. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

I have 6 douglas fir trees on my mid-eastern, New York State, USA land. The past 8 months the needles are turning bronze and falling off leaving bare spots. One tree appears mostly dead, others are heading that way. I read about moths causing this in the Pacific NW USA. Is that the likely culprit here in the NE? Suggestions on finding help and/or a caring, reasonably priced arborist before I lose all my firs and my natural privacy fence? Thank you very much.

I recently purchased a clematis that I planted among my other clematis-not too close, sunny spot with mulched roots, the others are doing fine but this plant looks very wilted- is this normal? I just planted it three days ago and watered it thoroughly. What else should I do?

I want to say it is almost like a chrysanthemum. The leaves are kind of feathery, not an actual leaf. Grows mound-shape about 6 - 8 inches tall. When the flower is spent it leaves a seedhead that if you rub it, the seeds loosen up and scatter. It doesn't like transplanting as it has a main tap root (not fine roots)... I believe I bought a tray of these at Home Depot years ago and have performed beautifully in my garden but now I must come up with the name. I'll check with HD but thought if you knew you could save me the trip. Thanks in advance, you guys are an invaluable resource :)
