A real estate person would square off the irregularities of the area, multiply the legnth by the width of each area and then add them together.

To find square footage, multiply the length by the width.
Tip: it may be easier to find square inches and then convert to square feet by dividing your answer by 12

Give us the dimensions.....width and length. If you need volume we also need the height. If shape is unusual, that would need to be known.
