I saw them at a green house and they were so pretty!

cherries bloom before they leaf out for the most part. most cherries are prolific bloomers & depending on the variety & weather will hold blooms for a good while. one variety that i grow is 'Okame" this is a pink & pretty fast grower. 'Okame' is also pretty good about disease restince & minimal problems with boars.

No as soon as they are fertilized by the bees, hummingbirds they start turning into fruit, enjoy the flowers while you can, and take pictures. You are so lucky that you can grow them. Hoyakins

No, unfortunately they do not.The blossom last a short time only,maximum a week, but if its very windy, just days!!

No, they flower ususally in Spring
