What could it be and how to I stop it ruining my plants?

I'm starting a small weekend gardening business. Basically, I come to your place and prepare a bed for flowers or veggies or whatever. I use a troy built roto tiller and can bring fertilizer/lime/organic to mix in if needed.

I was thinking of charging $50/hr - does this seem fair? Or should I come up with a flat rate?

I would like to add 1000 of "a gardener's best friend" to my 800 sq. ft. vegetable garden. I live in southern Michigan, Zone 5b. When should I add them to the garden? Are either Earthworms or Redworms preferrable over the other?

I've tried contacting Texas A&M's Forestry Department but all they gave me was a pdf brochure. All the chainsaw safety classes I've found out about online are up in the Northeast or northern Midwest (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota).

I have some mint leaves (Organic) growing quite healthy and quickly in my yard. (I planted them). I want to know can I get them out to local supermarkets to sell such as Wal-Mart, Krogers, Randalls, etc?
If so, how can I do it? Do I need to have a certain lisence or get approved by some official or something? I would really like to know.
Anything will help :).
Thanks in advanced,
Jalapeno10

P.S.- Should I begin to use fertilizer to help my mint leaves grow more productively and efficently? If so, what kind? Will I still be approved to sell these products?

I have a peach tree, two cherry trees and several rose bushes that have started to wilt rapidly. the ends of the leaves look burnt and crusted. I suspect some kind of fungus. Is this common in Nevada? How do fix the problem?

Thanks

I have a garden gnome that is planning to sneak on my roof and clock up my chimney with pumpkins and textbooks.

Is there any way I can stop it?

I threw it in my neighbors yard but it came back the next day.

I have a potted callalily that I want to transfer to the yard. When and how do I do this? Some of the leaves are starting to get yellow. I don't know how much light or water it should be getting, as it was given to me with no instructions. Thanks!

I bought this flower today because it is really pretty and smells great. The picture does not do it justice. What kind is it? I know it is a perinnial.

I'm replanting a bulb bed and since it was so full of the Stargazer lily's last year I want to share them in other beds. I was suprised at how large the bulbs are but that I had so few for the amount of flowers I had the last two years. So I wonder can I split these hugh bulbs into many differnt small parts and replant them?

yes, I'm new to this...

We have a small garden area that is constantly overrun with what I call "velcro weed" because it sticks to itself and my clothing. It's the only thing in the garden to which I am allergic (have to wear gloves when pulling it). It is very thin, with long runners and has very small purplish-blue flowers. It covers everything once it's started and smothers the plants. What is it and how do I get rid of it, short of digging up the entire garden and/or spraying it with weed killer?

It has very shallow roots, fortunately, so I've been pulling it out of the lawn and garden beds, but as I said, I am apparently allergic to it, so I'd rather get rid of it using some other method, if possible.

I am getting started on a backyard deck project. I will install footers in the dirt. The deck will be 18-24 inches off the ground. It will be about 150 sf and not attached to a structure. How far apart should my footings be? I am in Nor Cal where it rarely freezes and rains some but is mostly sunny. What is best wood to use? Is pressure treated OK? And how deep into the ground should my footings be? Any other thoughts? Thanks.

I planted some Dutch irises (Iris hollandica) a few years ago and they're coming up in clumps. Should I divide them up or leave them alone? And if I need to divide them, when's the best time?
