Yes, you can plant them all together side by side is fine. Those are great herbs, esp. when a recipe calls for "fresh". It's nice to be able to go right in your yard or out your back door to get them, it's so convenient. Italian basil & Italian flat leaf parsley are the BEST for cooking. I wouldn't use all of the seeds, maybe half or a bit more. You don't want the container to get too over crowded. After the season ends & they start to die, stop watering them & let the basil dry out. You will see as the basil grows (and you don't trim/cut it) you will notice it will start to "seed". Cut off that stalk & put them in a brown paper bag to dry out for next year. You can use those seeds over & over again as long an the plant keeps seeding.
P.S.- If you should see little tiny red bugs of any sort, or any bugs that look to be eating your plants, get a clean spray bottle & dilute some dish soap & water & spray on plants. This will kill those 'lil buggers!
Hope this helps!

Herbs grow well in close quarters. Don't use all the seeds in the packet at once, you'll have way too many plants. Use a few from each packet, a little closer than the recommended spacing on the packet. Once they get a little bigger if you want to fill in the container more, sow more seeds.

Herbs grow beautifully in tight quarters. I have window boxes full of them and they come in with me in the winter. Use about 1/2 envelope of seeds for 5"x5" area. Save the rest if you need to reseed (especially parsley). Herbs do mature quickly so the remaining seed can be used later in the season.

Heck yeah! Thats how I grow my herbs, just evenly divide up the container to the number of herbs you sow. Make sure you mark em, I usually put 10-15 seeds of each in there.

I grow my herbs in lil planters about 6" wide x 12" long. I put th em on plant stands by the window and water well about once a week. Sometimes they are fine always check the soil one inch deep and if dry water it a lil bit. Always have fress herbs to nibble on or cook wih. Have to watch my two cockatiels they like them too.

You can grow them all together, but just a few seeds from each packet.

no,not really, when the plants start to grow theyll choke the other plants off if you plant them too close together, you are better off if you ;plant them at least six inches from each other. rubberstampr
